Industry:

Three-year partnership driving continuous growth

C&M Motorsport launched their motorsport division in 2022, expanding from 30 years of car sales experience into rally cars, performance cars, and rally parts. They needed a digital platform that could grow with their ambitions. Over three years of continuous development, we’ve helped them scale from a new motorsport venture to becoming the official Hyundai Motorsport agent for the UK and Ireland in 2025 – building and improving their website at each stage of their growth.

The Challenge

Building a digital platform that could scale with growth.

C&M Motorsport was launching their motorsport division in 2022 without any website or online presence. They needed to establish credibility whilst making it easy for customers to discover their vehicles and parts. As a new venture, they couldn’t predict exactly what features they’d need, but they knew requirements would evolve as they understood their market better. They needed a digital partner who could build a solid foundation initially, then enhance the platform as their business grew and their customer base expanded beyond UK and Ireland.

The Solution

Phased development approach that matched business growth.

We launched the initial website in 2022, creating a premium digital showroom with a simple interface for browsing vehicles and submitting enquiries. Custom backend options allowed the admin team to upload and delete vehicles, adjust prices, and update images and videos quickly. As the business grew, we added advanced search and filter functionality in phase two, making it easier for customers to find specific rally cars and parts. Phase three introduced multilingual functionality to support European expansion. Phase four integrated Mailchimp to build their customer database. Throughout, we’ve maintained the premium aesthetic whilst continuously improving functionality based on real business needs.

Our Approach

We built solid foundations, then evolved the platform as business scaled.

Starting with no existing website meant we could design everything specifically for motorsport sales from scratch. Rather than building every possible feature on day one, we prioritised getting a premium, functional website live quickly. This let C&M start trading whilst we learned how customers actually used the site. We then added capabilities in phases as the business needs became clear – search functionality when inventory grew, multilingual support when European customers increased, email marketing integration when the database warranted it. This phased approach meant C&M never paid for features they didn’t need yet, and each enhancement was informed by real user behaviour rather than assumptions.

Deliverables

Premium digital platform that supported growth

An upmarket website design that established C&M Motorsport as serious players in European motorsport, supporting their journey from new venture in 2022 to becoming the official Hyundai Motorsport agent for UK and Ireland in 2025.

Phased development approach

Four development phases over three years meant C&M only paid for features as they needed them – initial website, then advanced search, multilingual support, and email marketing integration – each enhancement driven by actual business requirements.

Efficient stock management system

Custom backend functionality allows the admin team to update vehicle listings, prices, images, and videos quickly, with advanced search and filter capabilities added as inventory grew, ensuring customers can always find what they’re looking for.

European market expansion through multilingual functionality

Full multilingual support added in phase three allowed C&M to target customers across Europe in their own language, significantly expanding their market as the business grew beyond initial UK and Ireland focus.

Long-term digital partnership supporting continuous improvement

Three years of ongoing collaboration demonstrates the value of having a digital partner who understands your business and can evolve your platform as you scale, rather than building everything once and walking away.
